The Philosophy Café is an open exchange of philosophical ideas led by a University of Regina Philosophy Professor or a Graduate Student. The Café runs each Fall and Winter semester. The Department of Philosophy & Classics is proud to present the third and final Philosophy Café for Winter 2015. “What we owe to what we read” Presented By: Dr. Robert Piercey, Associate Professor of Philosophy at Campion College, University of Regina Its sometimes claimed that when we read for enjoyment, we owe something to what we read: that we have an ethical responsibility to read in certain ways rather than others. Can we make sense of this claim? How? Free and all are welcome to attend!
