Sun Life Active 4 Life Session D

At the University of Regina, our Active 4 Life program we hope to provide support for children with Type 1 and Type 2 and/or children who are at risk for diabetes late on in their life. Through Active 4 Life program and alongside the Summer Sports School program we hope to educate students and parents on the disease and/or the risk of the disease, how to manage diabetes and/or how to prevent their children from acquiring the disease. As well we want to give the students the opportunity to learn and experience alternate forms of physical activity such as yoga, pilates and/or zumba to name a few, along with the traditional sports.
