Dr. Carmen Robertson, Associate Professor of Visual Arts at the University of Regina, will present the 2016 Centre for Continuing Education Heritage Lecture. Carmen’s research centres on contemporary Indigenous arts with a specific focus on Anishinaabe artist Norval Morrisseau. She will be speaking about the process, pitfalls and epiphinies of writing her new book Norval Morrisseau: Art and the Colonial Narrative in the Canadian Media.
