WILD Outside is a year-round, inclusive, barrier-free program for young people aged 15 – 18. Youth who join the WILD Outside program will connect with CWF facilitators and other participants in their area by exploring the outdoors, and planning and carrying out community-based conservation projects in Regina. Participants in the program are encouraged to volunteer and will be recognized for their dedication through certificates and awards – this looks great on a resume! Activities may include (but are not limited to) hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, kayaking, park clean-ups, trail-building, urban farming, and tree-planting – just to name a few examples. Additionally, we will be hosting speaker-focused events where participants will learn from a variety of experts and specialists in the environmental world!
