For the better part of a decade, foreign correspondent Nahlah Ayed has lived in and covered the Middle East for CBC television, radio and online. From Riyadh to Tehran, Beirut to Baghdad, Ayed traveled the region extensively, reporting from many conflicts and interviewing key leaders. She also covered the Arab uprisings from the start. She will draw on her experiences during her presentation “A beginning, a middle and an end: Canadian foreign reportage examined” for the 34th Annual Minifie Lecture, hosted by the School of Journalism at the University of Regina. This free lecture is open to everyone. Complimentary parking has been arranged for the lecture that evening in lots 13 and 14 (in stalls marked “M”). Visit Parking and Transportation Services’ website for details.
