Auditions for Monty Python’s Spamalot

Auditions for Regina Summer Stage’s production of Monty Python’s Spamalot will be held on April 17 and 18, 2023, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Regina Performing Arts Centre. This deliciously irreverent musical spoof of the Arthurian legend features an abundance of outrageous characters which include King Arthur and his offbeat knights, beautiful showgirls, killer rabbits, and flatulent Frenchmen. Cheeky shenanigans poke fun at human foibles, but Spamalot also reminds us to “always look at the bright side of life.”

Director Amanda Schenstead, music director Diane Taylor-Neale, and choreographers Claire Castle and Breeann DeHaven are looking for a talented mix of adult performers (17 years of age and older). An engaging plot and colourful characters are at the core of this energetic production, which includes the musical numbers “He Is Not Dead Yet,” “All For One,” and “The Song That Goes Like This.”
