Chicago: The Musical

Regina Summer Stage presents Chicago: The Musical on July 11, 12, 13 and 14 at 7:30 p.m. and July 15 at 2:00 p.m. at the Regina Performing Arts Centre (1077 Angus Street). In this Tony-award winning musical set in Prohibition-era Chicago, two rival vaudevillians vie for the spotlight on and off stage. When nightclub star Velma Kelly and chorus girl Roxie Hart are sent to Cook County Jail for separate murders, superstar lawyer Billy Flynn defends them both, and a media frenzy ensues.

Director Nora Berg, music director Stacy Allan, and choreographers Claire and Hannah Castle have gathered a cast of over 30 talented performers whose acting, dancing, and singing prowess will have audiences begging for more. An edgy plot and outrageous characters are at the core of this stunning production, which includes the musical numbers “All That Jazz,” “Cell Block Tango,” “Razzle Dazzle,” and “Class.”
