Presenter: Miranda Field, Dr. L. M. Hanna School ABSTRACT: Leah Kuypers’ The Zones of Regulation ® is a cognitive behaviour approach used to teach self-regulation and move students toward independent regulation. Students become aware of their emotions, impulses, sensory needs and work towards improving their ability to problem solve conflicts. Findings and observations from classroom implementation of this program will be demonstrated and discussed. SIDRU Seminars provide a forum for educators and students to discuss educational issues and research and their implications for teaching and learning. Everyone is welcome. Coffee and cookies are provided. No registration is required.
