Dr. Gordon Wicijowski Law Foundation of Saskatchewan Chair in Police Studies Lecture presents: Prof. Nicholas Bala Faculty of Law, Queen’s University It is now recognized that children who are exposed to domestic violence are themselves at risk of harm, yet many of these children will want and benefit from a relationship with the abusive spouse. Prof. Bala will consider the challenges and complexity of domestic violence and his on-going research into innovative programs and policies intended to deal with domestic violence in a way that promotes the best interest of children.
