Insight: UR Business Distinguished Speaker Series

Insight: UR Business Distinguished Speaker Series is a speaker series hosted by Faculty of Business Administration and sponsored by the Office of the Vice-President, Research. The series features high profile members of the business community who have made a national or global impact in business. Our next speaker in this series is Mr. Ken Sunquist, winner of the 2013 Alumni Crowning Achievement Award for Lifetime Achievement. Mr. Sunquist will present “A New Global Perspective, A Saskatchewan Perspective.” His presentation will look at the areas where Saskatchewan can be competitive nationally and globally and how we fit into an emerging world of opportunity and surprising new markets. Ken Sunquist is an international strategic business advisor, management consultant and corporate director. He worked in Public Service and for the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade as Assistant Deputy Minister (Asia and Africa) and Chief Trade Commissioner for Canada from 1973 to 2011. His interests have focused on international business, government relations, leadership issues and working extensively on values and ethics for individuals and organizations.
