Intro to Powwow features live dance performances and showcases the spiritual, physical and cultural benefits of powwow. Presentations provide a contextual and historical framework for powwow. Along with providing information about the development and organization of powwow, Intro to Powwow is an opportunity to learn about the significance and meaning behind the songs and dances, and describes the different elements of the specific regalia associated with each style of dance. This session will be lead by Charging Bear Performance. Anyone interested in learning more about powwow is welcome to attend. More information: http://www.uregina.ca/student/asc/events/index.html

Growth of the soul is our goal, and there are many ways to encourage that growth, such as through love, nature, healing our wounds, forgiveness, and service. The soul grows well when giving and receiving love. I nourish my soul daily by loving others and being vulnerable to their love. Love is, after all, a verb, an action word, not a noun.
