The timeless songs of ABBA make Mamma Mia! a favourite of performers and audiences alike. Set on a fictitious Greek island paradise, 20-year-old Sophie sets wheels in motion to discover the identity of her father so he can walk her down the aisle at her impending nuptials. To the dismay of her mother, three unsuspecting candidates arrive on the eve of Sophie’s wedding, and hilarious complications ensue.

Director Patrick Pelletier, music director Diane Taylor-Neale, and choreographers Claire Castle and Breeann DeHaven have recruited a talented mix of performers. An engaging plot and colourful characters are at the core of this energetic production, which features ABBA classics such as “Dancing Queen,” “The Winner Takes It All,” and “Honey, Honey.”
