The Partnership Program is a public awareness program designed to inform people about schizophrenia and mental illness. A standard presentation takes one hour. Teams of 3 people, including one person living with mental illness, a family member (sometimes another person with mental illness), and a mental health provider deliver presentations. The presenter with mental illness shares their personal story regarding the experience with the disorder, the family member outlines the impact of the disease on the family, and the mental health professional provides a clinical overview of Schizophrenia and other mental illnesses. Everyone is welcome to attend this presentation.
