As part of the 2015 Sâkêwêwak Storyteller’s Festival (Feb 23-28), the Aboriginal Student Centre is hosting a workshop with Ryan McMahon, an Anishinaabe/Metis comedian, writer, actor & media maker based out of Treaty #1 Territory (Winnipeg, MB) and originally from Couchiching First Nation (Fort Frances, ON). Armed with a degree in Theatre (University of MN) and as a graduate of the prestigious Second City Conservatory (Toronto), Ryan’s storytelling comedy style is fast paced, loose and irreverent as he explores the good, the bad and the ugly between Indian Country and the mainstream. Everyone is welcome to attend. More information: http://www.uregina.ca/student/asc
