How have authors and publishers faced the challenges brought by the digital age? How are readers responding in this age of abundance? Our stories are more important than ever, but how we tell them, how we market them and how we consume them have all changed dramatically. If you have a manuscript, if you are considering a career in writing or publishing, or if you are intellectually fascinated by the contemporary landscape of books and words, you will want to attend this informative lecture by industry veteran Cynthia Good. About the speaker: Cynthia Good is currently the Director of Student and Industry Initiatives for the Creative Book Publishing Program at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. She founded the publishing program at Humber after 20 years with Penguin Books, where she had been the first editorial director and then president and publisher.
