Please note that these opportunities are only presented for interest – to give volunteers and site visitors an opportunity to see the types of positions offered by organizations.

Programs Coordinator

Organization: Regina Lakeview Community Association Inc.

Description: On an annual basis set up and administer the paid instructor- and volunteer-taught sport and recreation opportunities offered by Lakeview Community Association (LCA): determine program offerings in consultation with the board and treasurer; book and administer instruction space in schools, arenas, community centres, and parks; pick up and return school keys; submit LCA offerings to the City's Leisure Guides throughout the year; find, vet, hire, and support instructors; set up the class schedules and # of program participants in consultation with instructors and treasurer; coordinate online registrations with the treasurer; coordinate in-person registration for Learn to Skate if needed with the treasurer; answer/redirect parents' and participants' questions via email; work with the website administrator to update all program and registration information at LCA's website; participate in LCA monthly board meetings and also the AGM (in October or November) and submit regular program reports to the board. Start date is flexible but we hope to fill as soon as possible.

Volunteer Network Volunteer

Description: Hi.  The REALM Foundation is looking for volunteers to join a community network to support a person with a high level of disability (we call a Centre) achieve goals. COMMUNITY SUPPORT FACILITATOR

Description: REALM is looking for a COMMUNITY SUPPORT FACILITATOR to lead a small group of volunteers to support a person with a high level of disability (we call a Centre) achieve their action plan.  Plan goals and priorities are determined and directed by the Centre. This is a paid position working approximately 4-5 hours per month.   As a Facilitator you must be able to meet with the Centre at least once per month and with the group once per month.  Meetings are typically evenings or weekends.  Throughout the month you will schedule meetings, follow-up with volunteers, manage the plan and interact with REALM.   If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please forward your resume and cover letter to Chris Bailey at c.bailey@sasktel.net.   For more information about REALM you are invited to visit our website at www.realmfoundation.ca.
