REALM Foundation (Board of Directors Member at Large)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55
• Appropriate for volunteers aged 55 and over

We have openings for new Board members. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! Joining our board means you:

• believe all people belong (you too!)
• will enthusiastically support REALM’s mission (don’t worry if you don’t know who we are…yet!)
• will fully participate in what we do including fundraising, community building, and reviewing information to help us make good decisions
• will share your unique experience and ideas
• do not have to be familiar with the world of disability
• will work with a fantastic group of people (we are not stuffy and try to keep things simple and casual)
• attend 6-9 board meetings and events a year (mostly evenings, weekends but they’re usually short)
• are supported by the organization, particularly the Chair and Executive Director
• can commit to a 3 year term
• will build experience that looks great on a resume
