Opportunity Description:

Lakeview Community Association (LCA) is seeking a person, family, or small group to receive and post messages and events, of non-profit or community-minded organizations, on our community sign, located on the corner of Hill Avenue and Montague Street. Messages are booked on a weekly basis on one or both sides of the sign, with LCA messages taking priority. Messages up to 4 lines of short text are placed using letters and numbers that snap into place on the board. Duties are as follows: receive sign requests via the LCA website to a dedicated email address; vet the nature, acceptability, and suitability of the message and the submitter, and work with the submitter to edit as appropriate; schedule the message on the LCA website calendar; send an invoice to the submitter with a copy to the treasurer; install the message, which runs Sunday to Saturday for one or more weeks; attend monthly LCA board meetings and the AGM (October or November, and provide reports as needed. Note: In the event of inclement weather message postings may be delayed at the discretion of the sign coordinator. The start date is flexible but we are hoping to find a volunteer as soon as possible.
