CPRS Regina (Director of Accreditation)

• Appropriate for volunteers aged between 18 and 55
• Appropriate for volunteers aged 55 and over
• Training or orientation required

CPRS Regina is looking for a Director of Accreditation to join our Board of Directors. The ideal candidate would be someone who is actively working in or has a background in the field of Public Relations/Communications/Marketing.

CPRS Regina Board of Directors are required to be CPRS Regina members; however, outside applicants will also be considered and are encouraged to apply. Applicants from anywhere in Saskatchewan (and across Canada) who wish to join board meetings virtually and conduct their work remotely are also welcome. All board members are required to attend monthly meetings.

Director of Accreditation (Duties)

• Liaises with CPRS National & the Accreditation Council on Accreditation in Public Relations (APR)
• Liaises with CPRS National & the Accreditation on Public Relations Knowledge (PRK®) Accreditation
• Works with local PRK and APR candidates during their accreditation year
• Promotes the APR program to local candidates in collaboration with the Director of Marketing and Director of Membership
• Promotes the PRK exam to local candidates and universities: including University of  Regina, University of Saskatchewan, and Sask Polytechnic, in collaboration with the Directors of Marketing and Membership
• Builds a strategy to promote the program locally with the Directors of Marketing and  Membership
• Recruits & answers local APR and PRK inquiries
