Main Event Site Positions
Our main event site requires volunteers to fill various positions. Volunteers will be expected to arrive a few hours before the event begins and stay until the event is finished.
Bag Check (2 positions): Volunteers will help participants check their bags at the designated bag check area, and monitor the bag check area during the event.
Start/Finish Line (6 positions): Volunteers will help with the flow of the entrances and exits around the Start/Finish line. In addition, they will assist in the distribution of water and finisher’s bracelets.
Swag Bag Distributer (4 positions): Volunteers at the Swag Bag area will assist in the distribution of Swag Bags to all participants at the end of the event.
Photo Wall (2 positions): Volunteers positioned at these stations will assist the photographer by encouraging participants to dress up and take photos at the photo wall.
On-Course Volunteer Positions
Course Marshal (20 positions): Volunteers will be spread throughout the course to provide athletes with directions and will act as our primary cheerleaders and motivators.
Water Stations (18 positions): Volunteers will assist in the set-up of their designated water station, and will hand out water to participants as they pass the station.
