REALM Foundation (Personal Volunteer Support Network member)

REALM helps people with disabilities or their families create Personal Volunteer Support Networks to help them create community. Each network is made up of 5 to 8 volunteers who work together to accomplish goals identified by the person at the Centre.

We are currently helping 3 people create their own personal networks and we are looking for at least 6 volunteers who can commit approximately 2+ hours each month – one hour to attend a network meeting (likely in-person) and at least 1 hour to take on tasks agreed at the meeting. We are asking for a year commitment. You must be located in Regina or immediate area.

As a REALM support network volunteer you might be researching options, taking notes at meetings, or sharing your ideas, experience and expertise. Each network is different and goals and needs change. We need a variety of skills but most importantly bringing people together to share ideas and life experience is life changing for everyone involved.  We guarantee in just a couple of hours each month you will be contributing in ways you can’t imagine.
