Opportunity Description:

What: Queen City Ex 2019
When: Tuesday, July 30 – Sunday, August 3
Where: AffinityPlex at Evraz Place
Duties: sell popcorn, assist public in handling education artifacts, share interesting facts from script provided, promote CMoR mission, vision, and values, encourage public to purchase museum membership, promote current and upcoming museums programming.

Popcorn Handler position requires Safe Food Handling certificate. Safe Food Handling Certificate is a prerequisite and will not be provided by the organization. Certificate must be present during volunteer hours.

Museum Interpreter position may include cash handling (sales) and cash balancing (opening and closing daily float).

All positions involve interacting with the public and handling small artifacts. Artifacts are small and safe for handling.

Admission passes will be provided. Parking is at the discretion of the volunteer.
