Opportunity Description:

Neil Squire Society’s Computer Comfort program is a basic computer skills training program for persons with disabilities or barriers. As a Volunteer Computer Tutor you will have the opportunity to help individuals with disabilities or barriers develop basic computer skills. You will work one-on-one in a supportive learning environment, empowering individuals, and breaking down barriers.

Teach topics such as:

• Internet, email and social media
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Creating and editing employment documents e.g. resume and cover letters
• Learn how to use and teach assistive technology devices

Average time commitment: 4 hours a week for a minimum 12 weeks
