Canadian Wildlife Federation’s ‘WILD Outside’ is a conservation-based youth leadership program designed for youth ages 15-18. It is free to participate and fully inclusive. Youth who join in the WILD Outside program will enjoy opportunities for outdoor adventure and immersive nature experiences, as well as connection with other local participants in the planning and delivery of community-based conservation service projects. This program operates in 14 Canadian cities, including Regina! Activities may include (but are not limited to) hiking, snowshoeing, canoeing, kayaking, park clean-ups, trail-building, urban farming, and tree-planting – just to name a few. Participants in the program are encouraged to volunteer and will be recognized for their dedication through certificates and awards – this looks great on a resume!
