Opportunity Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helps with the planning of the event;
  • Volunteer recruitment, training and coordination on the day of the event;
  • Helps to find sponsorship opportunities;
  • Contributes to the collection of donated items;;
  • Event promotion

COMMITMENT:

  • 4 months;
  • Attends Planning Committee meetings, monthly Feb & March & bi-monthly April & May.  Some meetings are done through teleconference.

    information, generate possible solutions, and make recommendations and/or resolve the problem;
  • Motivated and enthusiastic;
  • Experience working with volunteers is an asset;
  • Previous event planning experience is an asset.
