The WestGrid Seminar Series hosts talks and tutorials on how to use WestGrid and Compute Canada resources. It also showcases examples of research projects that are supported by high performance computing. Sessions range in length from 30 minutes to an hour and are videoconferenced to participating institutions. ——————– Tutorial: Using WestGrid Speaker Info: Patrick Mann – Manager, Technical Operations, WestGrid Description This session was previously delivered on October 09, 2013 but is being repeated again for any users who missed it. It is a popular session as it provides attendees with a step-by-step tutorial on using WestGrid machines, including demonstrations of how to log in, submit jobs, move data, and troubleshoot problems. This will be an introductory-level session, covering the basics of getting started with a focus on job scheduling techniques.
