George Canyon – The Jekyll and Nothing to Hide Tour

Canyon’s major label debut, One Good Friend, shot to #1 on the Canadian Country Soundscan charts its first week out and was followed by four top five singles and a Juno Award for Best Country Recording of the Year.He has won multiple Junos, East Coast Music Awards and Canadian Country Music Awards including “Humanitarian of the Year Award” for his philanthropic endeavors. Released in 2007, Classics was George’s tribute to the traditional country artists and songs which inspired him as a child. The album was enthusiastically received by George’s audience, certified gold and produced a hit version of the Johnny Cash favourite, “ Ring of Fire”.
In 2008 multi-platinum artist and pop/rock icon, Richard Marx, signed on to produce Canyon’s What I Do album. The record yielded seven hit singles including “Just Like You”, the debut single. Marx and Canyon teamed up again to write and record songs for the 2011 album, Better Be Home Soon, which was certified Gold, making it his fastest selling album to date. In 2012 Canyon released the highly anticipated Classics II album. Canyon performed his much-awaited single, “Slow Dance”, on the Canadian Country Music Awards show to rave reviews. His new album will be released in early spring 2014.
