At Volunteer Regina, we take pride in linking people with local nonprofit community organizations, supporting persons with disabilities, new Canadians, corporations and professionals connect to organizations in and around the city, helping individuals develop skills to advance their careers, and developing knowledge resources that support effective and efficient volunteer capacity.

REACH (Regina’s Education and Action on Community Hunger) is a Regina-based nonprofit working toward a healthy community where everyone has access to nutritious and affordable food. For over 30 years, REACH has addressed food insecurity through practical, community-focused programs that increase access to healthy food, reduce financial and transportation barriers, and support long-term well-being. REACH programs include the Good Food Box, a frozen meal program designed to support seniors and individuals with limited mobility, community and school-based food education, mobile food stores, and large-scale food packing initiatives that support families and community partners across Regina and surrounding areas.

We provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare. Ronald McDonald House SK is a place that offers comfort, support and community to families with sick children, creating a nurturing place where families can heal together through compassion and communal support. Offering esssential resources and a supportive home environment with a range of services including meals, health and wellness programs and sibling support, seeking to help alleviate the financial burden with accessing medical care but also enrich the healing process. Beyond just a place to stay, they have created a home filled with healing and hope, ensuring families can focus on what matters most – the well-being of their children. With compassion and community support, Ronald McDonald House SK thrives on the generosity of its volunteers, donors and community partners. Family Service Regina is a not-for-profit organization focused on three main pillars: counselling, gender-based violence support, and community outreach. Counselling services include free barrier-free options, insurance-covered sessions, and the only non-profit Employee Assistance Program in Saskatchewan, with additional support available through Regina Public Library locations, including walk-in counselling. The gender-based violence unit provides specialized victim services, including the Older Adult Response Service, early intervention, court caseworkers, and direct support for individuals experiencing violence. Community outreach includes the Young Parent Program, which supports pregnant and parenting youth in completing high school, and full-time social workers based in Regina Public Library branches who provide crisis support and connect vulnerable community members to resources.

Prairie Sky Heritage Railway offers curated, small-scale passenger train experiences across the Saskatchewan prairie. Our journeys are designed to be relaxed, atmospheric, and memorable—focused as much on how the experience feels as where it goes. Based in Regina, operations will run along the Stewart Southern Railway corridor between Richardson and Stoughton, beginning in late May 2026. Prairie Sky Heritage Railway is an initiative of RERA Canada.

Queen City Gymnastics Club (QCGC) is a non-profit organization that has served the Regina and surrounding communities for over 40 years, providing high-quality recreational and competitive gymnastics programming for athletes of all ages and abilities.

Call for volunteers - make an impact! Good day, At Provincial Command, we believe that our youth are our future. We are currently working on the 2026 Legion National Track and Field Championship, where nearly 1000 athletes under the age of 18 will congregate in Regina to showcase their athletic skills. A number of athletes through this program and went on to become Olympic athletes competing on the world’s biggest stage! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as volunteers. Specifically, we need help with: Set up of tents, equipment, and general items. Assisting with the various events on a daily basis. Registration, housing, and food. And much more! When is it? Date(s): August 5th -11th 2026, with the actual event running 9th - 10th Time: Morning and afternoon shifts available Location: Canada Games Complex By giving your time, you will enhance our ability to put on a world class event, making it memorable for the athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers. The Regina Japanese Cultural Club Inc. (RJCC) is a community-based non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and celebrating Japanese culture in Regina and the surrounding area. Through a wide range of events and activities held throughout the year, we aim to preserve and share the richness of Japanese heritage with people of all backgrounds. From mochi-making and cultural potlucks to the powerful rhythms of taiko drumming and beyond, our community offers something for everyone. The Leftovers Foundation works in partnership with volunteers and local community agencies to pick up food that may be wasted and deliver it to people in the community who need it most.

Excel Athletika Track & Field Club is a club dedicated to developing athletes of all ages and abilities. Through quality coaching, skill development, and a positive team environment, we inspire participants to build confidence, achieve personal bests, and foster a lifelong love of track and field. Our club emphasizes sportsmanship, perseverance, and excellence both on and off the track.

A longstanding tradition for paddlers, residents, and visitors from across Canada, the Regina Dragon Boat Festival combines high-energy racing with culture, community, and family-friendly celebration. This unique event has been a favourite summer gathering in Regina since 1992.

The Regina Canada Day celebration at Wascana Centre is proudly organized by a dedicated board of volunteers, all of whom are members of the Regina community. Together with additional local volunteers, sponsors and vendors these board members work tirelessly to bring this vibrant celebration of Canada Day to life each year, creating an inclusive and joyful experience for all attendees.
