Improve the quality of life in the community of Lakeview by - Identifying local recreation and community needs in its broadest sense and make provisions to fulfill these needs. - Coordinating volunteers and paid instructors in conducting local recreation programs. - Providing a means of communication to Lakeview area residents. - Evaluating programs and their worth to the Lakeview community. - Working with the City of Regina and the South Zone Recreation Board to provide leisure, sport, and wellness programs and enhance parks spaces. - Effectively administering all Association funds for the betterment of recreation within the community. - Operating and administering social events for the community. - Examining any matters that could affect the residents of Lakeview in any social, economic, environmental, or political way.

The Regina Food Bank serves those most vulnerable in our community by providing programs and service directly, and through partnerships in the areas of food provision, essential skills development, and connections to community supports and opportunities. We work across the supply chain from farm to retail to capture surplus food before it ends up in the landfill which negatively impacts our environment. Every year, we recover millions of pounds of nutritious, unsold food — focusing on protein, dairy and produce — which we rescue before it becomes waste. We redistribute it to a broad network of over 4,000 social service organizations. Supported by hundreds of corporations, foundations, and the community at large, we rescue and redistribute enough food to provide thousands of meals a day in Canada. Itqan Learning Centre Inc is a non-profit organization based out of Regina.  Itqan Learning Centre Inc is dedicated to empowering youth and families in the immigrant and  refugee communities of Saskatchewan to achieve personal and social success.   Itqan Learning Centre Inc works with youth and their families in the Regina area to find and  meet the needs of their communities. With a focus on immigrant and refugee newcomers, we  proudly serve over 250 families and provide educational conferences and programs, lectures,  family activities, various sports tournaments, and weekend classes. With great success, Itqan  Learning Centre Inc is an open resource to all families and community members to resolve  conflicts through various counselling services . Our Mission To enlighten the society and Community members through social services, activities and conventional knowledge and providing conducive atmosphere for learning, leading,  providing, helping, and teaching and to enhance the lives of newcomers’ families through quality programs & services. • To educate and strengthen the community through religious and conventional knowledge in  order to grow a strong and successful community. • To help people help themselves by working creatively and responding to community  needs. Shelter Movers is a national, volunteer-powered charitable organization providing moving and storage services at no cost to individuals and families fleeing abuse. We collaborate with local businesses and community agencies to support people, primarily women and children, as they transition to a life free of violence.

Regina Work Preparation Centre Inc. is a not-for-profit, charitable, community-based organization specializing in helping people look for, find, and maintain work. We have served Regina and the surrounding area for more than 50 years.

The Cam's Kids Ambassador Program is a student-led initiative of Kids Help Phone, comprised of chapters in high schools and post-secondary institutions across Canada. Continuing the legacy of Cameron Hicks, a young person who navigated anxiety and reaching out for support through high school, this peer-led program focuses on creating awareness of mental health and the range of services and offerings available to them through Kids Help Phone.

At Volunteer Regina, we take pride in linking people with local nonprofit community organizations, supporting persons with disabilities, new Canadians, corporations and professionals connect to organizations in and around the city, helping individuals develop skills to advance their careers, and developing knowledge resources that support effective and efficient volunteer capacity.

Family Service Regina is a not-for-profit organization focused on three main pillars: counselling, gender-based violence support, and community outreach. Counselling services include free barrier-free options, insurance-covered sessions, and the only non-profit Employee Assistance Program in Saskatchewan, with additional support available through Regina Public Library locations, including walk-in counselling. The gender-based violence unit provides specialized victim services, including the Older Adult Response Service, early intervention, court caseworkers, and direct support for individuals experiencing violence. Community outreach includes the Young Parent Program, which supports pregnant and parenting youth in completing high school, and full-time social workers based in Regina Public Library branches who provide crisis support and connect vulnerable community members to resources.

The Leftovers Foundation works in partnership with volunteers and local community agencies to pick up food that may be wasted and deliver it to people in the community who need it most.
