The Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada is an organization founded by volunteers and continually fueled by the initiative and dedication of thousands of volunteers across the country. Our volunteers are an incredible group of exciting, dynamic and diverse group of people who share a willingness to contribute their time and talents to #endMS. We strive to succeed on our mission of being leader in finding a cure for multiple sclerosis and enabling people affected by MS to enhance their quality of life.
Planned Parenthood provides accessible, confidential contraceptive and sexual health programs and services to the Regina community with a priority focus on youth.
The Terry Fox Foundation holds annual runs to raise funds for Cancer research. Regina hosts the only Saskatchewan office, handling the fundraising and volunteer management for the province. Supporting almost 600 school s and 40 communities who fundraise.
Together, with donors, recipients, employees, partners and volunteers, we are Canada’s lifeline. Our role is to provide lifesaving products and services in transfusion and transplantation for Canadian patients, and to safeguard Canada's systems of life essentials in blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues.
Muscular Dystrophy Canada is a national, non-profit organization of dedicated volunteers and staff who continually work to provide support and resources to clients who are impacted by 1 of over 150 neuromuscular disorders. Through well-funded research, we are on a mission striving to find a cure as soon as possible.
In communities across Canada, the MS Society provides information, support, educational events and other resources for people living with MS and their families.
The Regina General Hospital Auxiliary is a nonprofit charity that raises funds for equipment and services needed for patients, families and staff of the General Hospital, located in Regina. The two main fundraising projects managed by the auxiliary is the Gift Shop (also includes a mobile cart that goes to patient wards) and a second hand Book Store.
Parkinson Canada is the definitive voice for the Parkinson’s community in Canada. Our purpose is to transform the lives of people living with Parkinson’s. We do this through research leading to better treatments and the end of Parkinson’s, advocacy bringing the voices of Parkinson’s to the forefront and support that helps people live well with Parkinson’s through education and services. A national registered charity, Parkinson Canada operates through the generosity of donors and is an accredited organization under the Imagine Canada Standards Program.
We provide home care services to seniors in a Retirement Community.
At Tetra, our focus is to find solutions to environmental barriers faced by people with disabilities. While these environmental barriers are a part of a person’s journey, we believe Tetra solutions help foster greater independence, quality of life, and inclusion.
Tetra recruits volunteers who work with clients to design and build assistive devices that are custom-made for the individual – these are devices that are either not available commercially or cost-prohibitive. As a non-profit organization, Tetra raises funds to deliver this program, including covering the costs of volunteer travel and materials for devices up to $500 per project.
The scope of Tetra projects is just as diverse as the clients we work with. The work Tetra does addresses needs in different areas of a person’s life.
MS Canada provides services to people with Multiple Sclerosis and their families and funds research to find the cause and cure for this disease.

MS Canada provides information, support and advocacy to people affected by MS, and funds research to find the cause and cure for the disease. As part of the MS community, we are committed to ensuring Canadians living with MS, and their families, can participate fully in all aspects of life. We continue to urge Federal Government to remove barriers and improve policies that impact people with MS in several policy priority areas.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You understand that cancer can change everything and you want to help people in your community get access to their Cancer treatment. You are ready to do your best to make a client’s ride to treatment one less thing they have to worry about, allowing them the space and focus to handle their journey in their own way.
You are comfortable using online tools, like email and our scheduling software and you have a valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer demerit points, drive a smoke free vehicle and be willing to undergo a criminal records check.
OUR INVESTMENT: As an organization we will provide you with training and support to prepare you for this important role. You will be supported by a Transportation Coordinator, who will be providing your driving schedule and be there to help you throughout your time on the road. You will be part of the larger Wheels of Hope team, including over 1600 volunteer drivers and many staff who share your desire to help as many people as possible get to their treatments.
