With you leading the way; together, we’ll explore your goals, determine your needs and the services that are best suited to support you in increasing your skills, building new and existing strengths and addressing any challenges you see that might get in the way.  This plan will serve as a map to show your progress, successes and any need for changes and exploration of new opportunities on your journey to employment.

Our Mission: To enable Canadians to improve their health, safety and quality of life by providing training and community service. We carry out our mission through community service, and first aid, and CPR training. Community Services volunteers include uniformed members who serve communities across Canada, providing first aid and emergency response support, as well as improving the quality of life for people confined to a health care facility through our Therapy Dog visitation program. First aid and CPR training comprises instructors, volunteers and staff who provide high-quality first aid training and products. Take a Pain Check Foundation is a Canadian registered, international youth-led community and non-profit organization founded in self-advocacy to empower youth with rheumatic diseases. They host bi-weekly podcasts, run ambassador programs for health professionals and youth, pilot rheumatic-related events, feature stories on their blog platform and lead monthly Joint Chat Rheum hangouts.

About Women in Tech Women in Tech World (WinTech) is a rapidly growing organization with a mission to elevate women in the tech industry. As an industry-agnostic and community-building organization, we work with private companies, nonprofits, and government groups to organize professional development workshops, thought leadership panels, and other initiatives to promote women’s participation and professional success in the tech industry. In the early 2017 WinTech partnered with Microsoft, Shopify, SFU and dozens of other partners to organize Women in Tech Week, coordinating 22 events in 7 cities in Canada and USA. Our tech scholarships program allocated $50,000 and projecting over $100,000 by the end of the year to women to take courses at BrainStation, Lighthouse Labs, RED Academy and CodeCore.
