The Health Research Data Platform – Saskatchewan (HRDP-SK) is looking for people to join its Public Advisory Council (PAC).If you care about how health data is used and want to help shape how it informs research and decision-making in Saskatchewan, this could be a great fit.What will PAC members do?As a member of the Public Advisory Council, you will bring your experiences, perspectives, and ideas to conversations about how health data is used. You will help HRDP-SK:· Improve how to communicate about health data to the public· Protect privacy and security · Build public trust and engagement· Ensure the perspectives of Saskatchewan communities are reflected in health data researchWho are we looking for?We are looking for people from across Saskatchewan who can bring different experiences and perspectives to the table.Helpful experience could include:· Being part of a group or committee· Contributing to your community and caring about its well-being· Personal experience with Saskatchewan’s health system as a patient, family member, or caregiver· Involvement in provincial initiatives or advisory groupsNo previous council or committee experience is required. About Wascana Soccer Academy Inc.Wascana Soccer Academy Inc. is a Regina-based non-profit youth soccer organization dedicated to providing high-quality soccer development programs that inspire young athletes to grow both on and off the field. We promote teamwork, discipline, confidence, respect, and a passion for the game while creating a positive environment for players to learn, improve, and compete.Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable individual to volunteer as a Treasurer / Bookkeeper. The successful volunteer will help maintain accurate financial records, monitor the organization's financial activities, support budgeting and cash-flow tracking, and provide financial updates to the board.This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA, accounting professional, accounting student, retired finance professional, bookkeeper, or someone with relevant financial experience who would like to contribute to the development of youth soccer in Regina.Key ResponsibilitiesRecord and maintain monthly revenues, including player registrations, sponsorships, and grants.Record and categorize expenses, including field rentals, equipment, referee fees, and other operating costs.Perform monthly bank reconciliations using accounting software or spreadsheets.Maintain organized and accurate financial records and supporting documentation.Prepare a brief financial update for board meetings and the Annual General Meeting (AGM).Assist with annual budgeting and basic cash-flow planning.Assist the board with applicable non-profit financial reporting and annual filings.Maintain confidentiality of the organization's financial information.QualificationsExperience or education in bookkeeping, accounting, finance, or business administration.CPA, accounting student, bookkeeper, or equivalent practical experience is an asset.Experience with QuickBooks, Wave, Excel, Google Sheets, or similar accounting tools is an asset.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.Interest in supporting community-based youth sports and non-profit organizations.Time Commitment & BenefitsApproximately 3–5 hours per month.One-year volunteer term, renewable by mutual agreement.Primarily remote/flexible, with occasional in-person board meetings in Regina.Opportunity to gain meaningful non-profit financial and governance experience.Volunteer reference letter and verification of volunteer hours available upon request.Potential registration-fee benefit for eligible family members, subject to organizational policy.How to ApplyPlease send a brief email outlining your background and interest in the position to info@wascanafc.com with the subject line “Treasurer Application – Wascana Soccer Academy.”
