Canadian Wildlife Federation's 'WILD Outside' is a conservation-based youth leadership program designed for 15- 18 year olds. It is free to participate and fully inclusive. Youth who join in the WILD Outside program will enjoy opportunities for outdoor adventure and immersive nature experiences, as well as connection with other local participants in the planning and delivery of community-based conservation service projects. Since its beginning the EnviroCollective has become well entrenched in the community and has effectively integrated and partnered with key advocates around Climate Action. The organizations’ goal is to be a hub for community engagement and dialogue around climate action and is considered a key partner to organizations, businesses and various levels of government looking for a wider audience.

The Regina Humane Society is a registered non-profit charity that respectfully serves animals and the community. This is an opportunity to do good while gaining practical, hands-on work experience. Help prevent the spread of invasive species and help keep ecosystems healthy. Acquire first-hand experience with the geography of your home province. Design and lead your own community project or join another one. For example - A weed pull, habitat restoration, planting native seeds, community litter cleanup, and much more! Learn project management fundamentals, budgeting, public engagement, leadership, and teamwork skills. Get training in habitat restoration and invasive species management. Learn how to identify invasive species and understand the impacts on our ecosystems. Learn from Indigenous communities and knowledge-sharers. Earth Rangers is an environmental non-profit that empowers youth to take action for the environment. Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.

Regina Cat Rescue (RCR) is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization and registered charity that helps abandoned cats and kittens and educates people about the humane treatment of pets. We rescue cats and kittens found on the streets and provide them with necessary veterinary care such as spay/neuter surgeries, deworming, identification, vaccination and any rehabilitation necessary for adoption into loving homes. We also trap, neuter/spay, and return feral cats back into colonies, followed by long-term care and feeding by dedicated volunteers. Finally, we feel strongly that education is the key to success in addressing the severe plight of cat overpopulation in our city. We educate the public on the importance of sterilization, responsible pet care, and the benefits of well-maintained community cat colonies.

As an advocate for community and environment, SWRC will lead in addressing the underlying causes of waste by identifying opportunities, creating connections and promoting solutions.

ABOUT US We are a registered, non-profit organisation that is provincially and federally permitted to operate across the province of Saskatchewan. Since our founding in 2006, we have built a supportive network of dedicated volunteers who help us provide helpline, rescue and transport services. ​At WRSOS, we believe that wildlife and humans can live together successfully. Our goal as an organisation is to facilitate the well-being of wildlife. We stand in solidarity among the provincial wildlife guardians in Saskatchewan and are dedicated to minimising wildlife suffering due to human interaction.

Youth Eco-Stewards is an initiative of Invasives Canada funded by Canada Service Corps. We previously ran a pilot project in 2024 called Youth Nature Keepers. This program provides youth between 12-30 years old with the opportunity to remotely learn about the environment, invasive species, and biodiversity at their own pace. Additionally, it offers funding support to attend conferences or register for certifications, which is geared towards youth looking to boost their Green Career
