To provide information and support to those with pancreatic cancer and their families; to create awareness and educate both the general public and health professionals about the disease, and to raise research funds leading to earlier detection, better treatments and improved quality of life for patients.
The Defeat Depression campaign aims to provide hope and reduce stigma for those suffering from depression and other mood disorders. This campaign was launched by Mood Disorders Society of Canada in 2012, and has taken place in dozens of locations across Canada.
Defeat Depression is a national fundraising campaign that was launched in 2012 by Mood Disorders Society of Canada. Over the past seven years, dozens of events have taken place all over Canada, supporting local mental health organizations and encouraging individuals with mental health issues to speak out. We are looking to expand into more cities and are looking for organizing committee members to facilitate that.
