Camp fYrefly is a summer leadership retreat for sexual minority/gender variant and allied youth.
Together, with donors, recipients, employees, partners and volunteers, we are Canada’s lifeline. Our role is to provide lifesaving products and services in transfusion and transplantation for Canadian patients, and to safeguard Canada's systems of life essentials in blood, plasma, stem cells, and organs and tissues.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: You understand that cancer can change everything and you want to help people in your community get access to their Cancer treatment. You are ready to do your best to make a client’s ride to treatment one less thing they have to worry about, allowing them the space and focus to handle their journey in their own way.
You are comfortable using online tools, like email and our scheduling software and you have a valid driver’s license with 3 or fewer demerit points, drive a smoke free vehicle and be willing to undergo a criminal records check.
OUR INVESTMENT: As an organization we will provide you with training and support to prepare you for this important role. You will be supported by a Transportation Coordinator, who will be providing your driving schedule and be there to help you throughout your time on the road. You will be part of the larger Wheels of Hope team, including over 1600 volunteer drivers and many staff who share your desire to help as many people as possible get to their treatments.

If you are between 15 and 30 years old and want to be a driver of positive change in your community, you’ve come to the right place. This opportunity is available for youth living anywhere in Saskatchewan.
Your actions matter, and together we can work towards a greener, cleaner future!
This is an opportunity to do good while gaining practical, hands-on work experience.

<li>Help prevent the spread of invasive species and help keep ecosystems healthy. Acquire first-hand experience with the geography of your home province.</li>
<li>Design and lead your own community project or join another one. For example - A weed pull, habitat restoration, planting native seeds, community litter cleanup, and much more!</li>
<li>Learn project management fundamentals, budgeting, public engagement, leadership, and teamwork skills.</li>
<li>Get training in habitat restoration and invasive species management. Learn how to identify invasive species and understand the impacts on our ecosystems.</li>
<li>Learn from Indigenous communities and knowledge-sharers.</li>
<li>Join a safe and inclusive space to feel welcome, supported, and valued.</li>
<li>Earn volunteer/service hours, a certificate of completion, and professional references.</li>

<span style="font-weight: 300">Canadian Wildlife Federation's 'WILD Outside' is a conservation-based youth leadership program designed for 15- 18 year olds. It is free to participate and fully inclusive. Youth who join in the WILD Outside program will enjoy opportunities for outdoor adventure and immersive nature experiences, as well as connection with other local participants in the planning and delivery of community-based conservation service projects. Caring Hearts is seeking volunteers for Caring Hearts Camp, an overnight retreat for recently bereaved children and teens which will take place at Dallas Valley Ranch on May 4th, 5th and 6th, 2018. Camp provides activities aimed at working through a camper's grief as well as a fun and memorable camp experience. Activities include horseback riding, art therapy, canoeing, butterfly release, campfire and fireworks to name a few. Volunteers are required to supervise the children and help them through the various activities. Caring Hearts provides mental health support to the people of Saskatchewan when they are overcome with grief and heartache. We offer young people the opportunity to begin their journey of grief and healing through Caring Hearts Camp. We educate agencies and service providers by sharing our expertise so they can fill their professional toolboxes and better support their communities. Most importantly - we listen, we understand, and we are beside the people of our province every step of the way to help guide them through grief's journey.
