Next Gen Action Council Leadership OpportunitiesRole DetailsThe Canadian Cancer Society's Next Gen Action Council is recruiting for three distinct leadership portfolios:Brand Engagement LeadMission & Advocacy LeadFundraising LeadThese volunteer leadership opportunities support and report to the Next Gen Action Council Co-Chairs and work collaboratively across all Council priorities. Each role brings a unique perspective while contributing to a shared goal of engaging and empowering the next generation of cancer advocates, supporters, and changemakers.DescriptionHelp shape the future of cancer impact for the next generation.As a member of the Next Gen Action Council, you'll bring the perspectives, ideas, and energy of Gen Z and Millennials to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Health Research Data Platform – Saskatchewan (HRDP-SK) is looking for people to join its Public Advisory Council (PAC).If you care about how health data is used and want to help shape how it informs research and decision-making in Saskatchewan, this could be a great fit.What will PAC members do?As a member of the Public Advisory Council, you will bring your experiences, perspectives, and ideas to conversations about how health data is used. You will help HRDP-SK:· Improve how to communicate about health data to the public· Protect privacy and security · Build public trust and engagement· Ensure the perspectives of Saskatchewan communities are reflected in health data researchWho are we looking for?We are looking for people from across Saskatchewan who can bring different experiences and perspectives to the table.Helpful experience could include:· Being part of a group or committee· Contributing to your community and caring about its well-being· Personal experience with Saskatchewan’s health system as a patient, family member, or caregiver· Involvement in provincial initiatives or advisory groupsNo previous council or committee experience is required.
