Call for volunteers - make an impact! Good day, At Provincial Command, we believe that our youth are our future. We are currently working on the 2026 Legion National Track and Field Championship, where nearly 1000 athletes under the age of 18 will congregate in Regina to showcase their athletic skills. A number of athletes through this program and went on to become Olympic athletes competing on the world’s biggest stage! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join us as volunteers. Specifically, we need help with: Set up of tents, equipment, and general items.Assisting with the various events on a daily basis.Registration, housing, and food.And much more!When is it?Date(s): August 5th -10th 2026, with the actual meet running 7th - 9thTime: Morning and afternoon shifts availableLocation: Canada Games Complex By giving your time, you will enhance our ability to put on a world class event, making it memorable for the athletes, coaches, officials and volunteers. Want to make a difference in helping children build their reading skills? Become a Spark volunteer!As a Foundations Learning volunteer, you provide one-to-one support to strengthen children’s reading strategies through our reading program called Spark. Spark Reading Guides attend a 3.5-hour training on reading methods and strategies, and will be provided with all resources needed throughout the program. Volunteers are matched with 2 elementary school students and work one-on-one with each student for 30 minutes, twice per week (Monday-Friday), over 8 weeks. Spark runs four terms a year: fall, winter, spring, and summer.
