The Defeat Depression campaign aims to provide hope and reduce stigma for those suffering from depression and other mood disorders. This campaign was launched by Mood Disorders Society of Canada in 2012, and has taken place in dozens of locations across Canada.
Defeat Depression is a national fundraising campaign that was launched in 2012 by Mood Disorders Society of Canada. Over the past seven years, dozens of events have taken place all over Canada, supporting local mental health organizations and encouraging individuals with mental health issues to speak out. We are looking to expand into more cities and are looking for organizing committee members to facilitate that.

Earth Rangers is an environmental non-profit that empowers youth to take action for the environment. Our ER Teens program offers an opportunity for young Canadians aged 13-18 to take initiative for environmental causes they care about, such as wildlife conservation, climate change, sustainability, and more. By working remotely with staff, teens volunteer their time to complete an eco-action project of their choice; at home, at school, in their community, or online. Our flexible program ensures that teens can work at their own pace, while having the support and resources they need to make a positive impact.

Whether it’s providing counselling services to a family struggling with changing circumstances, providing support to a teen mother facing adult responsibilities, or helping victims of domestic violence find their voice in the criminal justice system, our ambition remains the same: We offer support, hope and opportunities to help people grow healthy families and strong communities.
Family Service Regina is a not-for-profit organization focused on three main pillars: counselling, gender-based violence support, and community outreach. Counselling services include free barrier-free options, insurance-covered sessions, and the only non-profit Employee Assistance Program in Saskatchewan, with additional support available through Regina Public Library locations, including walk-in counselling. The gender-based violence unit provides specialized victim services, including the Older Adult Response Service, early intervention, court caseworkers, and direct support for individuals experiencing violence. Community outreach includes the Young Parent Program, which supports pregnant and parenting youth in completing high school, and full-time social workers based in Regina Public Library branches who provide crisis support and connect vulnerable community members to resources.
